The Engine Piston is an integral component of an internal combustion engine. Crafted from durable materials like aluminum alloy, it is designed to withstand high pressure and heat. This cylindrical piece of metal moves up and down in the engine's cylinder, converting the force from the expanding gas in the cylinder into mechanical energy. The top part, known as the Piston crown, is exposed to extreme temperatures and combustion pressures, while the lower part, the skirt, helps guide the piston and reduce vibration. The piston rings, situated around the piston, prevent gas leakage and regulate oil distribution.
