The function of the engine Oil Pressure Sensor is as follows: 1. Set to detect oil pressure: The oil pressure Sensor is installed on the main oil passage of the engine. When the engine is running, the pressure measuring device detects the oil pressure, converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal and sends it to the signal processing circuit. 2. The function of the oil pressure sensor is to detect the oil pressure and send out an alarm signal when the oil pressure is insufficient. When the oil pressure is insufficient, the oil light on the instrument panel will light up. Oil pressure alarm failures are usually caused by a faulty Oil Sensor plug, insufficient oil, a clogged Oil Pump Filter , and a damaged oil pump. 3. Detect the oil pressure and send an alarm signal if the pressure is insufficient. The oil light on the instrument panel will come on when the oil pressure is low. The faults caused by insufficient oil pressure alarm are generally failure of the oil sensor plug, insufficient oil, clogged oil pump filter, and damaged oil pump.
